Women’s Basketball Returns Home Sunday
December 13, 2024 | Women's Basketball
CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State will put its undefeated home record on the line for the third time on Sunday when it battles visiting UC Irvine at 1 p.m.
The Beavers and Anteaters will meet for the first time since 2019-20, an 86-57 Oregon State win that featured 25 points from Mikayla Pivec. OSU enters off a loss to Pacific, but with a defense that is hitting its stride. The best shooting percentage among the Beavers' last three opponents was 36.1 by the Tigers.
Fans at Sunday's game can get holiday photos with Benny and Bernice from the time doors open until there are 15 minutes remaining on the clock. The photo area will be set up on the east side of Gill Coliseum near the sales offices.

PRO BEAVS
Development in the Oregon State program helped several former players earn spots on pro teams all over the world. Numbers fluctuate as seasons start and end, but OSU has 10 alumni playing professionally. Notable performances include Kat Tudor earning a spot on the WBBL Team of the Year and Mikayla Pivec earning NBL1 East First-Team honors. Tudor and Tea Adams also recently led the Caledonia Gladiators to their first Super League Basketball Final with a 68-62 win over the Sheffield Hatters. Marie Gulich (Germany) and Ali Gibson (Puerto Rico) each represented their countries at the Olympics. Gibson was OSU's first two-time Olympian in women's basketball.
OUR MISSION
Oregon State Athletics strives to Build Excellent Authentic Visionary Student-Athletes (Go BEAVS).
