• The Beavers will look to get revenge on the Mustangs after Cal Poly took a 19-15 win in last season's meeting in San Luis Obispo. Cal Poly used decisions at 197 and HWT to pull away for the win to snap a lengthy skid in the series that dated back to the 2011-12 season.
• OSU and Cal Poly will meet for the 71st time on Friday in a series which the Beavs hold a 46-12-12 lead.
• The Beavers will look to start 2-0 in Pac-12 play for the second consecutive season

• Oregon State and Oklahoma State will meet for the 22nd time in history in a series that is led by the Cowboys.
• They met last year in front of 6,674 (formerly the record wrestling crowd in Gill) where the Pokes won, 20-12.
•Sunday's dual marks the second time in the Pendleton era that the Beavs will meet the Cowboys in Gallagher-Iba Arena, the first meeting was during the 2020-21 season, the first under Pendleton.

Cowboy Connections

• Pendleton capped his final season with a 33-1 record that had a 19-0 mark in duals with 10 pins and eight techs.
• Trey Munoz's father, Mark, was a national champion and two-time All-American and teammate of Pendleton's on the Cowboys.
