September 26, 2023 | Women's Volleyball
CORVALLIS, Ore. – Returning home for the first time in two weeks, the Oregon State volleyball team will welcome Pac-12 competition to Gill Coliseum for the first time in 2023 when seventh-ranked Washington State and Washington visit.
Lindsey Behonick's squad (5-7, 0-2 Pac-12) will look to rebound from a pair of road setbacks – at No. 6 Oregon and USC, who was receiving votes in the latest AVCA poll – as Pac-12 play opened.
THE OPPOSITION
Oregon State welcomes Washington State and Washington this weekend to Gill Coliseum, marking the first league matches at home. The Beavers will look to avenge home setbacks to both the Cougars and Huskies from last year.
Last time out, the Cougars dispatched the Beavs in three while OSU fell to the then-No. 19 Huskies in four sets.
MILESTONE WATCH
Mychael Vernon needs just eight kills to hit the 800 mark for her career. The New Yorker sits at 792.

Starting Thursday, the Beavers will play six of their next eight matches inside the comforts of Gill Coliseum. Following next week's road swing with Utah and Colorado, OSU will host the next four against the Arizona schools and the Bay Area schools, respectively.

LETHAL LAUREN
In just her first season with the Beavs after transferring from Arizona, Lauren Rumel has made an instant impact. The Tucson, Arizona, native has registered a .320 hitting percentage, which paces the Beavs. She's accounted for 82 kills to just 19 errors on 197 total attempts in OSU's 12 matches in 2023.
