Down by as many as 21 points in the third quarter, the Beavers (3-1, 0-1 Pac-12) battled back to close their deficit to just three before time expired.

Fenwick's scores came on dashes of 38, nine and four yards while DJ Uiagalelei found the endzone following a 26-yard scramble. To cap a 21-point fourth quarter, Uiagalelei connected with Jack Velling on a five-yard connection with 72 ticks left on the clock.

Uiagalelei led OSU with 198 yards through the air and also added 61 yards on the ground. Easton Mascarenas-Arnold led the defense with 10.0 total tackles – including three solo stops. Atticus Sappington was perfect on PATs – connecting on all five attempts.

The hosts jumped out to a 14-0 lead before Fenwick found the endzone to close it to 14-7 before the first quarter expired. Washington State stretched their advantage to as much as 35-14 by the third quarter before the Beaver defense held them to just 10 points in the second half.

Oregon State will return to action on Friday, September 29th when the Beavers will welcome Utah. Kickoff from Reser Stadium is set for 6 p.m. and can be seen on FS1.
