Beavs Fall to Oregon in Eugene

EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon State fell to No. 6 Oregon, 3-0, on Friday night in the first Rivalry Series meeting of the season.Â

Mychael Vernon led the Beavers with nine kills, while Ryan White's nine digs led the category and Amanda Burns added a dozen assists.Â

The Rivalry Series is presented by Safeway-Albertsons, PacificSource Health Plans, Your Local Toyota Dealers and First Interstate Bank.Â

The Beavers (5-6, 0-1 Pac-12) will end the quick two-match road swing with USC on Sunday afternoon. Action from the Galen Center is set for 1 p.m. and can be seen on Pac-12 Networks.Â
