Beaver Volleyball Adds Four Mid-Year Transfers
January 15, 2026 | Women's Volleyball
CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State volleyball has made four mid-year additions, Head Coach Lindsey Behonick announced on Thursday.
All coming from fellow Division I institutions, the group includes a pair of power conference transfers, a multi-faceted setter and 2025 First Team All-Conference selection who tallied 289 kills this past season.
Aly Cox / Setter / Boise, Idaho (Pacific)
Aly Cox was a member of the WCC's All-Academic team in 2025 after a strong sophomore season that culminated in 118 kills, 396 assists, 159 digs and 38 blocks. She recorded first triple-double by a WCC athlete since 2022 against Idaho State early in the 2025 season, finishing with 12 kills, 12 digs and 18 assists, and later had a season-high 29 assists against Santa Clara.
Originally from Boise, Idaho, Cox cited the coaching staff and academic opportunities for why she chose OSU and brings a unique skillset that excites Coach Behonick.
"We have played against Aly in the West Coast Conference for the last two years and we are excited she will now be on our side of the net. She is a multi-faceted player with experience as an attacker as well, so the knowledge of playing other spots has made her a well-rounded and intelligent athlete," Behonick said. "As a setter, she has the ability to move the ball around with ease, is a natural leader, and someone who wants to continue to be great. Her positivity and grit will further enhance our gym."
Ivana Cvetkovic / Middle Blocker / Belgrade, Serbia (Wake Forest)
Ivana Cvetkovic recently completed her freshman season at Wake Forest, where the Belgrade, Serbia, native appeared in 12 matches and made five starts. She totaled a season-best seven blocks in a win over Notre Dame and added six more in a home match against then-ranked No. 7 Louisville two days later.
Citing her belief that OSU is a great place to succeed both academically and athletically as a reason why she joined the program, Coach Behonick noted that Cvetkovic has a unique ability to read the game.
"At a young age, Ivana has the ability to read the game of volleyball at a high level. Her movement laterally, defensive skillset, and ability to transition on and off the net fast are skills that have helped her succeed in the ACC," Behonick said. "We are so excited she is coming west to continue her career as a Beaver as she will contribute positively to the culture, training, and vision of OSU Volleyball."
AC Froehlich / Outside Hitter / Lafayette, La. (LSU)
AC Froehlich comes to Corvallis after three seasons at LSU, where the Louisiana native played 107 sets across 35 matches, tallying 143 kills, 29 blocks, 23 aces, 18 assists and 170 digs. A member of the 2025 SEC Volleyball Community Service Team and 2024 Fall SEC Honor Roll, Froehlich had a double-double against FIU during her sophomore season, finishing the match with 15 kills and 14 digs, and had a career-high five assists at Auburn later in the same year.
Citing Oregon State's competitive atmosphere and the city of Corvallis for why she chose the Beavers, Coach Behonick says that Froehlich's experience and personality will bring another positive element to the program.
"AC is someone that brightens the mood by being around her. She's inclusive, confident, and has a curious mind for learning," Behonick said. "We're excited to have her with our team because she has experience in one of the best conferences in the country, understands what it takes to win and also appreciates and encourages a cohesive culture. An outside with experience performing all the skills of a six-rotation player, we are excited to see the versatility and skillset she will bring to our gym."
Taylor Treahy / Opposite Hitter / Santa Clarita, Calif. (George Washington)
Taylor Treahy was a first team All-Conference selection in 2025 after earning A-10 All Rookie honors as a freshman, finishing her two seasons as a Revolutionary with 572 kills, tallying 280 or more in both years. She recorded a double-double against Virginia with 12 kills and 12 digs early in the 2025 season and exploded for a career high 29 kills during a five-set win over George Mason on Oct. 29, where she also hit .339.
A west coast native, Treahy cited OSU's athletic culture as part of why she chose Oregon State.
"Taylor is a player that elevates the level of volleyball and competitive drive whenever she's on the court. There is a reason her previous conference voted for her in the top group of performers at the end of the year, as she has incredible numbers both offensively and defensively," Behonick said. "We are excited about her arm and her ability to hit with range. She likes to compete and wants to be pushed, which are both qualities that we embrace and encourage in our training environment. We are excited to see the new heights she will reach at OSU."
Oregon State volleyball concluded its 2025 season with a 19-9 record, winning 18-plus for just the fourth time in the last 30 years and finishing in the top three of the conference standings for the first time in program history, and will begin play in a revamped Pac-12 next season.
