CORVALLIS, Ore. – Back in the Beaver State, the Oregon State volleyball team will face off with in-state foe - Portland State - in a home-and-home series with matchups on Thursday afternoon and Saturday night. The Beavers will host the Thursday affair while the Vikings will return the favor on the weekend.
The matchups this week will mark the first time the Beavers will play an Oregon-based opponent in the Behonick era.
BACK IN THE BEAVER STATE
After three in California, Oregon State will return back to Oregon for a home-and-home with Portland State. On Thursday, the Vikings will visit Gill Coliseum before the Beavs return with a trip north to PDX on Saturday.
THE OPPOSITION
Oregon State and Portland State will meet for the 61st and 62nd times this week. In last year's meeting in the Rose City Showdown, the Vikings took a four-set match.
