Ciao Beavs: The Funicular and Lake Como

LAKE COMO, Italy – Oregon State hit the road for the final time in Italy on Monday, tripping to Lake Como for the final two days of their trip.
The bus ride was three-and-a-half hours with the team catching up on some rest before a stop for lunch and another lively game of 'mafia' for the final hour of the drive.

Once in Lake Como, the Beavs checked into their hotel and then raced to catch the funicular before the end of the day. The single-track railway concludes in the village of Brunates, up the mountain from Como, and the team was greeted with beautiful views of the lake and the Swiss Alps.
After admiring the views and filling their camera rolls with photos, the team descended the mountain and headed back to the hotel for dinner. It was the final 'fancy' dinner of the week as the team pulled out their best fits to enjoy the meal and the evening together.

Oregon State's final game of the trip is tomorrow against Basket Costa. A livestream of the game is unlikely, though hosting teams may provide it if they choose to. Scores will be made available on social media and osubeavers.com after the contests. Â
