Last Game
Travis Bazzana, Micah McDowell and Kyle Dernedde all homered to send Oregon State to a 6-4 win over UCLA Saturday night at Jackie Robinson Stadium. With the win, the Beavers evened the series and look to take the finale with Sunday's noon rubber match. Bazzana hit a three-run home run in the fourth to put the Beavers up 4-2. McDowell went deep in the fifth, his solo shot putting Oregon State up one after UCLA had tied the game in the fourth. Dernedde followed McDowell's fifth home run of the year with his third of the season in the sixth, extending the Beavers' lead to two.

Oregon State Notes
• The Beavers won their 35th game of the season Saturday. OSU has won at least 35 in 11 consecutive seasons and 15 of the last 17.
• Oregon State is looking to win its first series at UCLA since going 2-1 in 2017. The Beavers' last series win against the Bruins, regardless of location, was in 2018 in Corvallis.
• OSU won for just the fourth time this season when an opponent records more hits. The Beavers are 4-13 in that scenario, and won for the first time since March 29 at Seattle.
• Oregon State has 62 home runs this season, the second-most in a single season in program history. The Beavers trail the 2018 club, which hit 67 in 68 games.
• OSU is averaging 1.24 home runs per game this season.
• Travis Bazzana recorded his team-best 24th multiple-hit game this season Saturday, and posted his team-best 17th double. The 17 doubles are tied for fifth in the Pac-12.
• Bazzana ranks second with a .504 on-base percentage.
• Kyle Dernedde's home run Saturday was his first since Feb. 24 against Coppin State. Dernedde equaled a career-high with three hits. The junior has upped his average to .256 after it was .174 on April 9, a stretch of 17 games. He has at least one hit in 13 of those 17.
• Ryan Brown's ninth save of the season equaled Utah's Micah Ashman for the Pac-12 lead.
• OSU improved to 30-0 this season when taking a lead into the ninth inning.
• The Beavers and Bruins have combined for 45 strikeouts in 137 at bats over the first two games of the series. The teams have 40 hits, with 15 going for extra bases.
• OSU closes out its Pac-12 slate on Sunday. The Beavers are looking to win their 18th conference game for the ninth time in the last 12 seasons.
