Jacob Kmatz tossed six scoreless innings, Micah McDowell posted five hits and four RBI and Gavin Turley hit his third home run of the season as the Beavers defeated Coppin State, 16-0, to claim the series on Saturday. The Beavers rapped out 14 hits and 17 walks with two hit by pitches. Kmatz struck out five for the quality start while McDowell tallied four singles and a double with a walk. The win pushed the Beavers to a five-game win streak.
