DOMINATING DEFENSE
The Beavers are known for their lockdown D under Scott Rueck. Oregon State has allowed 58.7 points per game over the course of his tenure and has held opponents under 65 points in 70% of its games. The Beavs are 240-62 (.790) when holding the opponent to 65 points or fewer and 203-35 (.844) when holding opponents under 60 in the Rueck Era.

BEAVS GOT DEPTH
The prowess of Oregon State's bench is a theme early in the 2023-24 campaign. The Beavers lead the Pac-12 in bench points with 27.4 per game with players deeper in the rotation keying victories like a comeback win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff in the season opener, OSU's bench scored 30+ points in half of its games this year with eight players boasting at least one double-figure game.
Â
3 AND D
Oregon State has long been one of the sweetest shooting teams in the Pac-12, finishing in the top-three in the league in three-point percentage 8 times in the last 10 seasons. After two down seasons from downtown, OSU is back at the top of the nation from downtown. The Beavs are making 38.2 percent of their triples - 16th in the nation and 2nd in the Pac-12 - with three players shooting 40 percent or better. OSU is also holding opponents to 25.2 percent from beyond the arc, the 2nd-best mark in the Pac-12.
