Distance Team Opens Indoor at Colyear-Danville Season Opener

BOSTON – Oregon State Track and Field opens the 2022-23 indoor season this Saturday at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener in Boston, Mass.

The meet is hosted by Boston University at the BU Track & Tennis Center. It will be streamed live on FloTrack with live results available here. The meet is often the premier early-season event of the indoor calendar for distance runners, providing the Beavs with an opportunity to post fast times and get a measuring stick on where they are at the beginning of the year.

Oregon State will race two athletes in the mile and three in the 3,000 meters. Abigail Pradere and Maya Baechlor will open the indoor campaign at 7:41 a.m. before Kaylee Mitchell, Kate Laurent and Erika Cunniam compete in the 3,000 meters at 10:55 a.m.

Mitchell competed at the same meet last season, racing to the school record in the 3,000 meters in 8:55.10 in a loaded field.
