A HEIDE IN THE POST
Sela Heide's transfer from Cal to Oregon State continued a family legacy started by her parents, both Oregon State basketball players. Her mom, Sissel Pierce, anchored the OSU defense with 2.9 blocks per game as a senior while her dad, Jason, was a two-year starter who averaged 10.0 points and 4.8 rebounds per game.
Â
DOUBLE-DOUBLE QUEEN
Raegan Beers made a mark quickly at OSU, racking up double-doubles in her second, third and fourth college games. Beers closed the 2022-23 regular season leading the nation in double-doubles by a freshman. She was also the only true freshman in the country to score 20 points in a double-double six times last season.
Â
THE BEAVER STATE'S BEST
Oregon State continued signing Oregon's top talent in the 2023 class, adding guards Donovyn Hunter (ESPN no. 82 in the nation) and Kennedie Shuler. The duo each led their teams to the OSAA 6A State Semifinals last season. Hunter's South Medford squad won the matchup and advanced to the state title game. Both Beavs were named 6A All-State and both earned league player of the year honors in their respective conferences.

Â
- Opened the 2023-24 season with three straight double-doubles, including a 20-point, 14-rebound effort against Villanova
- The 6th player in Oregon State history to record 5 straight double-doubles (NCCU-ASU)
- Tied for sixth in a single-season in school history with Mikayla Pivec (2019-20) and Tanja Kostic (1993-94)
- Needs just one more double-double to enter the OSU Career Top-10 with 18, which would tie her with Felicia Ragland (1999-2002)
