SEEING DOUBLE (DIGITS)
Donovyn Hunter and Dominika Paurova proved to be players to watch in their college basketball debuts against University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff. Hunter dazzled with a 14-point, six-assist performance, while Paurova showcased her skill with 13 points, five rebounds and three steals. The pair was the first to score in double-figures in their Oregon State debuts since 2012-13 (Jamie Weisner & Khadidja Toure).
DOUBLE-DOUBLE QUEEN
Raegan Beers wasted little time making her mark on the floor, racking up double-doubles in her second, third and fourth college games. Beers closed the 2022-23 regular season leading the nation in double-doubles by a freshman. She was also the only true freshman in the country to score 20 points in a double-double six times last season. She needs just three more double-doubles to enter the OSU Career Top-10 with 18, which would tie her with Felicia Ragland (1999-2002)
SHARING IS CARING
Oregon State's offense is at its best when the Beavers are sharing the ball. In 2022-23, the Beavs went 10-2 season when they had at least 16 assists in a game and the only two losses came against top-20 teams (#15 Arizona & #17 Oregon). They also averaged more than 20 more points per game in games with at least 16 assists (79.0-58.4).
HOME SWEET HOME
Beaver Nation has been among the best women's basketball fan bases in the Pac-12 over the last five seasons. Oregon State is the only Pac-12 team to finish in the top-three in the conference in average attendance over the last five non-Covid seasons. During that time, OSU has been 72-12 inside the friendly confines of Gill Coliseum.
