CORVALLIS – The Oregon State men's rowing team is slated to compete at IRA National Championships this weekend at Mercer Lake in New Jersey.

Three Beavers boats will take part in the event, with OSU sending a Varsity 8, a JV8 and a 3V8. All three boats will begin action Friday morning, with repechages taking place on Friday afternoon. IRA semi-finals will take place on Saturday with finals slated for Sunday.

The Beavers have competed in every IRA Championship since 2013, and have finished as high as fourth at the event (2002).

Oregon State placed third in the team standings at Pac-12 Championships, marking the second-straight year the Beavers have held that position. The OSU Varsity 8 and JV8 both finished fourth in the event, while the Varsity 4 and 3V8 both placed third.
