SENIOR (2024-25)
- Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic selection and Empacher-IRCA Scholar Athlete
- Coxed the 1V8 in all seven spring regattas, which posted three individual race wins
- Guided the Beavs’ first eight to its first victory of the season, finishing all 2,000 meters in 5:49.70 to best UC San Diego at the Redwood Shores Invitational II
- Added a win in a dominant performance on the road against Gonzaga, UC San Diego and Stanta Clara, where four out of five Beaver boats won
- Also won a race against Holy Cross in Philadelphia, Pa., on May 3
- Made the Grand Final at the MPSF Championship with the first eight, helping the Beavs finish in third place overall with 47 points, five points ahead of Stanford
- Competed in the IRA National Championship Regatta, where OSU placed 21st in the country
- Coxed the Varsity 8 at the Lake Las Vegas Invite, helping the team knock off Santa Clara and San Diego
- Coxed the 4V8 at the Dexter Invite, beating Gonzaga
- Coxed the Varsity 8 in five races, including IRAs
- Coxed the 2V8 once, against Gonzaga
- Coxed the 3V8 at IRA's, helping the boat finish 15th
- Was part of the 3V8 at Pac-12's, as the boat finished third
- Coxed the 3V8 and the Freshman 8 at Stanford
- Was part of the 3V8 at the Pac-12 Invite
- Helped the 3V8 take third at Washington
- Was part of the JV8 at vs. Gonzaga, at the Las Vegas Invite and at the Portland Classic
- Rowed at Greenlake Crew
- Was the lightweight 8+ Coxwain
- Daughter of Barcin and Tolga Acar
- Both parents attended graduate school at Oregon State
- Intends to major in public policy on a pre-law track
- Hopes to attend law school for intellectual property law
- Enjoys skiing and snowboarding
- Chose Oregon State because it is a great community with a strong school of public policy, as well as a competitive team.
