CORVALLIS, Ore. – For the first time in nearly a month, the Oregon State women's soccer team will ready themselves for a match away from the comforts of Paul Lorenz Field. Pac-12 tilts opposite Colorado and Utah additionally mark the first road conference competitions of the 2022 campaign for Lauren Sinacola's squad.
The Beavers will look to snap a three-match skid in league play following dropped chances, including against top-ranked UCLA last Sunday.
SCOUTING COLORADO
Following six straight home wins to start the season, Colorado dropped its last one at Prentup Field in their Pac-12 opener to Arizona State by a 3-2 line. Following those, they drew No. 15 Washington State in Pullman and fell to Washington in Seattle. A pair of Buffs – Shyra James and Civanna Kuhlmann – have tallied 21 points apiece so far this season. James has netted 10 goals and a helped on another while Kuhlmann has scored eight times and dished five assists to teammates. Dani Hansen has seen the bulk of the minutes in goal for Colorado, registering 39 saves in more than 705 minutes.

McKenna Martinez's brace wasn't enough for the Beavers as Colorado scored the winner in the 92nd minute to take the 3-2 win in Boulder.
SCOUTING UTAH
After winning their Pac-12 opener by a 2-1 line over Arizona, the Utes dropped their last two to the Washington schools: 3-2 to Washington and 1-0 to Washington State. In 11 games played, the Utes carry a 5-4-2 mark, with a 5-1-1 record at Ute Field. Tailiana Kaufusi is leading the Utes with 12 points from six goals while Madeline Vergura follows with eight points from three goals and a pair of assists. That pair has accounted for 35 shots, 17 of those being on frame. Eve Vitali's 35 stops have led the Utes in goal through a dozen matches. She has totaled over 967 minutes and has saved nearly 75% of the shots fired her way.
