Oregon State will compete Sunday in Seattle
CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State men's rowing team will head north again this week, as the Beavers prepare to take part in the Head of the Lake Sunday morning in Seattle, Wash.
The Beavers will race four boats in the event, with the Varsity 8 race slated to start things off at 8 a.m.
Oregon State's V8 will be coxed by Ethan deBorja and powered by Andrew Balsbaugh, Cal Labonski, Tristan Gavin, Ben La Fond, Brian Tames, Colin Lindquist, Nils Patrick and Ryan Coulter. The Junior Varsity 8 race is slated to start shortly after the Varsity race. The Beavers' JV boat consists of Drew Riviello (coxswain), William La Fond, Ryan Ghalayini, Tristin Vanderlind, Philipp Seeger, Dylan Stengel, Nathan Purtzer, Christian Touhey and Landen Acosta.
The 3V race is slated to begin at 8:17 a.m. Oregon State's boat will include coxswain Lidya Acar, Patrick McIntee, Samuel Silberstein, Zach Niedermeyer, Tanner Mathews, Isaac Connelly, Kai Geller, Chad Lee and Will Kendall.
The Beavers will enter a single 4+ boat in a race that will begin at 9:52 a.m. They team of Chris Neihoff, Aiden Susak, Grant Hemingway and Cameron Canfield will be coxed by Mateo Olmedo.
