
Quarantine Q & A with Lindsey Schell

Our quarantine series of Q & A's continues today with rising junior Lindsey Schell. Lindsey is a two-year starter at middle blocker and is the only returner at the position entering the fall.

Q: Where are you quarantining?
A: I'm currently in Corvallis after spending the first two months with my family in Temecula, Calif.
Â
Q: What is the biggest positive to come from your quarantine?
A: The biggest positive is being able to spend time with my family and my dogs.
Â
Q: What is your preferred work out location during quarantine?
A: My mom and I love to go for runs on the trails around my neighborhood.
Â
Q: Abs or cardio?
A: Abs

Q: What TV series have you enjoyed the most during the quarantine?
A: Dead to Me on Netflix.
Â
Q: What have you done during the quarantine that you didn't do during normal life?
A: Puzzles … so many puzzles

Q: Have you done anything to improve yourself during quarantine?
A: I started to do a lot more yoga during quarantine as a way to lower the stress of remote school.

Q: What was your favorite moment from the 2019 volleyball season?
A: My favorite moment was our upset win against Oregon.
Â
Q: What do you want to be when you grow up?
A: I want to be a physician assistant working either in neurology or the ER.

Q: Is there a skill you are/were focused on improving during the offseason?
A: I was working on getting more consistent at hitting sets behind the setter … like slides.
Â
Q: How was remote college for you? What was your biggest school challenge?
A: Remote learning was interesting. It was really difficult to balance three labs without actually being able to perform them in class.

Q: What do you look forward to the most about getting back to Corvallis (or other people getting back to Corvallis?
A: Being back with my teammates and playing volleyball in Gill again!
