Battle Of The Orange & Black
- Friday's game marks the first ever between the teams.
- The teams are also set to open the 2020 season in Stillwater, on Sept. 5.

- The Beavers are 9-12 all-time versus current members of the Big XII.
- Oklahoma State is the first Big XII foe on OSU's schedule since the 2012 Valero Alamo Bowl (Texas) and the first in a regular season game since 1998 vs. Baylor at what was then known as Parker (Reser) Stadium. The Beavers won that game, 27-17.
- Oregon State, Oregon (vs. Auburn at Arlington, Texas) and Stanford (vs. Northwestern) are the only Pac-12 teams to open the year against a Power 5 Conference opponent.
Â
A Look Ahead
- The Beavers head to Honolulu for a matchup with Hawai'i following Oregon State's game with Oklahoma State. Kickoff is slated for 9 p.m. PT (6 p.m. in Hawai'i).

-Â The Beavers played Hawai'i in the 1999 Oahu Bowl, a 23-17 loss. Head coach Jonathan Smith, then a Beaver quarterback, was 19-of-40 passing for 269 yards in that game.
