Beavers Split with Ducks, sweep Redhawks at The Hoop

SALEM, Ore. – The Oregon State volleyball fell split four sets with Oregon, 2-2, and swept Seattle U., 4-0, in spring volleyball action Saturday at The Hoop in Salem.
The Beavers, who lost three out of four sets to the Ducks last week in Corvallis as part of the Willamette Volleyball Classic, bounced back this week with better overall play.
"We passed the ball very well and attacked much better (than last week), "head coach Mark Barnard said. "The team did much better in transition play and gave themselves more opportunities to swing at the ball during rallies. I thought Chloe Brown was excellent."
The final week of the spring season is next Saturday, May 25, in Eugene when the Beavers face Oregon again at 1 p.m. and then take on Washington at 3 p.m.
