Eisert On The Season
How good has Brandon Eisert been? The lefty has yet to allow a run in 23 1/3 innings this season, allowing 13 hits and just one walk to 30 strikeouts.
Meckler Makes The Start
Southern California native Wade Meckler made his first career start Saturday night. The freshman led off and was in the designated hitter position. He came into the game with three at bats on the season. Meckler finished Saturday 0-for-2 but scored twice, walked twice and drove in a seventh-inning run via a groundout to second.
Big Fly
Alex McGarry's seventh-inning home run was his first since Feb. 24 against Nebraska in Surprise, Ariz., and his second of the season.
First To 40?
The winner of Sunday's rubber match will be the first team to 40 victories in the all-time series. The Beavers evened the series up at 39 with Saturday's win. Oregon State has never been swept in a three-game series versus the Bruins, and the Beavers last swept UCLA in 2016 in Corvallis.
Rutschman Moving Up
Adley Rutschman is in sole possession of 10th in Oregon State's history with 135 RBI after totaling three on Saturday. He is one shy of tying Darwin Barney (2005-07) for ninth. Rutschman also drew two walks on Saturday to give him 106 for his career. That ties him with Matt Bailie (1995-98) for seventh.
And A Streak Note
Adley Rutschman is also on a six-game hit streak coming into the series finale. The junior is 10-for-17 during the streak, adding one home run, seven runs, seven RBI and 11 walks.

• The Beavers are looking to win their fourth consecutive Pac-12 opening series dating back to the 2016 season.
• OSU is 7-2 when an opponent scores first.
