Orange & Black Regatta Set for Nov. 16

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State rowing is pleased to announce the details for this year's Orange & Black Regatta to be held on Saturday, Nov. 16 at the Oregon State Rowing Center.

This inter-squad scrimmage is a public event that brings alumni, parents, community members and current athletes together for a day of all things Beaver Rowing. This is the first race experience for newly named walk on athletes, and the last race opportunity for fall season.

The day's festivities will begin at 9 a.m. with a welcome gathering. The racing will consist of a long head-race piece and a series of short distance events. Alumni will have the opportunity to uni-suit up and row on the Willamette. A barbeque with the athletes will take place after the conclusion of racing and the alumni row. There will be an award ceremony, boat dedication and post-regatta tailgate to follow including lawn games and beverages.
