Middle Blocker Joins Volleyball Program for ‘19
January 28, 2019 | Women's Volleyball
CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State volleyball program grew for the second time in recent days with the addition of Anna-Kate Treske, a 6-foot-3 middle blocker from Lake Oswego, Ore. on Monday, head coach Mark Barnard has announced.
"Anna-Kate impressed us with the time she has been playing and how quickly she has developed," Barnard said. "She is a perfect example of an athlete who has minimal volleyball experience that we take pride in developing to one day being a leader in the Pac-12. She has a thirst for learning the game and is noted for her dedication to getting better at every opportunity."
Treske was a three-year letterwinner at Lake Oswego High, earning Three Rivers League All-Conference honors as a senior. She helped the Lakers to second place league finishes twice.
Playing club for Portland Volleyball Club and Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy, Treske helped her teams to compete nation-wide and win a bronze medal at Junior Nationals in 2017.
