Volleyball Adds Back Row Commitment For 2019

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State volleyball team added to the 2019 roster with the addition of Taylor Quinn on Wednesday, head coach Mark Barnard has announced. Quinn will bring depth and competition to the back row for the Beavers when she arrives this spring.
"Taylor has been a standout junior player and comes to us fresh off leading Corvallis High to a state championship," Barnard said. "Taylor has a very high volleyball IQ and she is a skilled player with a highly competitive nature. She has grown up around Oregon State Volleyball and has a good understanding of what it takes to be successful in the Pac-12. As a DS/libero she has an excellent serve and highly developed passing and defense that will be required against the offensive strength of the Pac-12."
Quinn was a four-year starter at libero at Corvallis High, earning Mid-Willamette All-Conference honors each season. Quinn, who is the daughter of OSU assistant coach Jessica Quinn, helped Corvallis to three straight conference championships while being named as a top libero in Oregon each year. As a senior, Quinn led the Spartans to the 5A state title, earning all-tournament honors and all-state recognition.
Starting club volleyball at the age of eight, she was also a five-time qualifier for USA Girls Junior National Championships throughout her career with clubs including DSK Volleyball and North Pacific Juniors.
