vs. WASHINGTON STATE: Oregon State and Washington State meet for the 297th time with the Beavers holding a 172-124 advantage, including a 101-43 edge in games played in Corvallis.

The 296 meetings are the fourth-most in NCAA history and the 172 wins by Oregon State are the eighth-most by one school over another in NCAA history.

Oregon State has won eight of the last nine meetings, including four straight in games played in Corvallis.

The Beavers won the first game last season, 94-62, on Feb. 8 at Gill Coliseum. It was the Beavers' largest win over a Pac-12 opponent since defeating the Cougars 91-55 on Feb. 23, 2002 in Corvallis. All five Oregon State starters scored in double figures: Tres Tinkle 20, Alfred Hollins 19, Drew Eubanks 18, Stephen Thompson Jr. 16 and Ethan Thompson 10.

Oregon State won the regular-season finale between the teams last season, 92-67, on March 3 in Pullman. Ethan Thompson scored 23 points, Tres Tinkle posted a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds, and Stephen Thompson Jr. added 18 points.
