Beavers Look Towards Friday Matchup with Arizona

THE GAME: The No. 10 Oregon State women's basketball team returns home this week to take on Arizona in a 7 p.m. tip on Friday.

WHAT'S COMING UP: Oregon State will remain at home on Sunday for a matchup with No. 19 Arizona State at 2 p.m. The Beavers will follow that up by heading north for matchups with Washington and Washington State next weekend.

OSU VS. Arizona: Oregon State is 35-31 all-time vs. Arizona and 21-10 at Gill Coliseum. The Beavers have controlled the series of late, having won the last nine matchups. Mikayla Pivec put up a combined 17 points, 16 rebounds and 11 assists in the two games vs. Arizona last season.

FAMILY NIGHT: Friday's game will be Family Night presented by Paventy and Brown Orthodontics, as fans can get four general admission tickets for just $20.

QUICK HITTERS:
- Oregon State is 130-25 since the start of the 2014-15 season, the seventh-best record in the nation over that span, trailing only UConn, Notre Dame, Baylor, Maryland, South Carolina and Louisville.
- OSU has won 11-straight Pac-12 games dating back to last season, the fourth-longest conference winning streak in program history.

- Record at Oregon State is 193-91 making him the second-winningest coach in Oregon State history. Aki Hill holds the Oregon State wins record with 274.
- Rueck engineered an accelerated turnaround at Oregon State, bringing the program into national prominence during his eight seasons as head coach.
- Prior to joining Oregon State, Rueck served as head coach at George Fox in Newburg, Ore., where he built the program into a Division III national power, winning an NCAA title in 2009.
- Rueck's teams have consistently been known for outstanding defense. The Beavers have allowed 57.1 points per game over the course of his tenure. George Fox allowed just 48.3 points per contest in 2009-10, Rueck's final year there, and set a school record with 45.4 points allowed under Rueck in 2007-08.
