Beavers Host Portland State Tuesday in Non-Conference Tilt

THE WEEKEND
• The Beavers will take a break from Pac-12 action and face Portland State at 1 p.m., Tuesday at the OSU Softball Complex.
• The game is the first of a home-and-home series with the Vikings. The Beavers will play PSU in Portland on May 3.
LOOKING AHEAD
• Following the mid-week non-conference game, the Beavers will stay in Corvallis and host Stanford for a three-game series starting on Friday.
• Game one of the series will play the lone game broadcast on Pac-12 Networks at 3 p.m.
• Game two is scheduled to start at 1 p.m., on Saturday with the series finale at noon on Sunday.
• All three games will be played at the OSU Softball Complex.
BEAVERS AT GLANCE
• The Beavers are 21-18 overall and 4-8 in league play after taking the series against No. 8/9 UCLA last weekend.
• Oregon State took the series against the Bruins for the first time in history and also run-ruled UCLA in game one for the first time.
• OSU is ranked No. 42 in the RPI this week.
• Redshirt senior, Natalie Hampton hit a three-run walk-off home run in the final game of the series against No. 8/9 UCLA. She holds the all-time career RBI record at OSU with 150 runs batted in.
• Senior, Taylor Cotton picked up Pitcher of the Week honors March 7 after recording a pair of wins at the San Diego Classic, including throwing a no-hitter against Miami (Ohio).
• Junior Alysha Everett had career days against UNLV and No. 8/9 Washington with career-high five RBIs.
SERIES HISTORY
• Oregon State holds a 90-33-1 all-time record against Portland State.
• The Beavers picked up a 9-1 victory in five innings last season in Corvallis.
