- Every game this season can be heard live via the TuneIn application, which is available online and on smartphones and tablets. To find the game, once the app has been downloaded, search "Beaver Sports Network."
- The teams are meeting for the 38th time, with the Wildcats holding a 22-15-1 advantage in the series. That includes a 12-6 record in games played in Tucson.
- Oregon State and Arizona first met in 1966, a 31-12 win by the Beavers, and the first conference game came in 1978, a 21-7 win by the Wildcats.
- Manase Hungalu is the reigning Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week after totaling 20 tackles versus California Saturday. It is the Beavers' first Defensive Player of the Week award since Treston Decoud in 2016 after OSU's win over Idaho State.
- Hungalu and David Morris (17) have the two highest single-game tackle totals in the Pac-12 in 2017.
On This Date —
- Oregon State last played on Nov. 11 in 2006, a 25-7 loss to UCLA in Los Angeles.
- The Beavers have played on Nov. 11 16 times leading up to Saturday's game. OSU is 10-6 on that date.
- Oregon State played at Arizona on Nov. 11 in 2000, a 33-9 win for the Beavers. It was one of 11 wins for Oregon State that season.
- The Wildcats hold a 22-15-1 advantage, but it has been the Beavers as of late who have controlled the series. Oregon State has won 13 of the last 16 games between the teams dating back to the 1999 season.
- Included in that stretch is a 6-1 record in games played in Tucson.
- Oregon State's biggest wins in the series have come since 1999. The Beavers beat the Wildcats 38-3 in back-to-back seasons, from 2001 to 2002.
- The 17 points allowed by the Beaver defense in 2016 is tied for the fewest in a conference game since OSU held California to 14 points in a 2012 victory.
- Ryan Nall ran for 124 yards and Artavis Pierce posted 71 to lead the Beavers to 210 yards on the ground last season. Jordan Villamin caught six passes for 124 yards - the last Beaver to reach the century mark - while Pierce and Trevon Bradford each pulled in three passes.
- Defensively, Manase Hungalu recorded a team-best 10 tackles. As a team, the Beavers finished with six tackles for loss.
- Pete Pifer tallied 228 rushing yards against the Wildcats in 1966, which at the time was the second-largest single-game mark in school history.
- Jacquizz Rodgers caught 10 passes in the second half against Arizona in 2009, the second-most in one half by an OSU player.
- As a team, Oregon State gained 654 total offensive yards in the 2005 game, a 29-27 loss. The 654 yards are tied for the fifth-most in one game. OSU's 613 yards at Arizona in 2012 (a 38-35 win), meanwhile, are good for seventh.
- The teams have never met when both the Beavers and Wildcats are ranked at the same time.
OSU/Arizona Connections —
- Oregon State safety Omar Hicks-Onu and Arizona defensive lineman Larry Tharpe Jr. both attended Hebron High School in Carrollton, Texas.
- Oregon State offensive lineman Trent Moore, linebacker Hamilcar Rashed and quarterback Mason Moran and Arizona cornerback Malcolm Holland all attended Hamilton High School in the Chandler, Ariz. area.
- OSU linebacker Adam Soesman and Arizona linebacker Richard Merritt are both products of Clovis, Calif.'s Buchanan High School.
- OSU cornerback Jeffrey Manning Jr. and wide receive Champ Flemings and Arizona safety Rhedi Short all attended Cathedral HS in Los Angeles.
- Arizona's offensive line coach, Jim Michalczik, coached the tight ends, offensive line and special teams coach at OSU from 1999-2001.
Strength Of Schedule —
- Oregon State's strength of schedule is at No. 17, per Sagarin, entering the game with Arizona.
- Among Pac-12 Conference teams, the Beavers trail only USC (No. 8), UCLA (No. 11) and Arizona State (No, 12) on strength of schedule.
- Five of the Beavers' eight FBS opponents this season so far have winning records entering this weekend - and seven of eight are at least .500 -Â going a combined 52-27 (.658). That includes Washington, Washington State, USC and Stanford, which have all been in the top-25 this season. They're a combined 30-8 (.789)
- OSU's final three opponents - Arizona, Arizona State and Oregon - are a combined 16-12 (.571).
Rarefied Air —
- Manase Hungalu's 20 tackles tied him with Andre Harris for fourth-most in a single game by an OSU player, and sent the Hawaiian native to Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week honors.
- Harris had 20 against Oregon in 1987. The 20 are two shy of the program record tied by Harris in 1988 against Colorado, and first set by Steve Brown in 1972 vs. Stanford.
- The 20 tackles are also tied for the fourth-most by an FBS player this season. His 13 solo tackles are tied for third-most nationally.
- Hungalu finds himself in rare company heading into the game against Arizona. He is one of just three Pac-12 players to rank in the top 20 in the conference for tackles, passes defended and interceptions, on average. He is joined by Stanford's Justin Reid and Colorado's Evan Worthington.
- Hungalu ranks second in the Pac-12 averaging nine tackles per game, is tied for 10th with 0.22 intereceptions on average, and tied for 17th with 0.67 passes defended per game.
- Hungalu is the first OSU player to earn the defensive honor after playing a conference foe since Rashaad Reynolds in 2013 against Washington State.
When Nall Hits 100 —
- Ryan Nall's 172 rushing yards against Colorado gave him nine such efforts in his career. That ties him with Bill Enyart (1966-68) and J.J. Young (1991-94) for seventh-most at OSU.
- Nall is now three 100-yard games shy of No. 6 Dave Schilling, who recorded 12 from 1969-71.
- He now has an Oregon State record three carries of at least 75 yards in his career after scoring on a 75-yarder against CSU. His others include 89 yards against Washington State and 80 against California, both coming in 2016.
Sixty-Five Candles —
- Oregon State University is celebrating Benny Beaver's 65th birthday this year. Benny Beaver made his official debut Oct. 4, 1952 in an Oregon State College (as known then) against Michigan State at Portland's Multnomah Stadium.
- Ken Austin created the first Benny Beaver costume and would be the first to serve as the lovable mascot, who officially celebrated his birthday Sept. 29 at Reser Stadium.
- Austin, along with his wife, Joan D., are amongst the university's biggest donors and OSU's new College of Business building is named in their honor – Austin Hall.
Miltary Appreciation —
- As a small token of appreciation to those who have given so much to defend and serve the United States of America, Oregon State Athletics is offering two complimentary tickets to Beaver football's November 18 game against Arizona State to verified military personnel, including both active personnel and veterans.
- Service members and veterans can also purchase additional tickets for 50% off regular price.

- Additionally, three others have made their first Oregon State starts.
- Thomas Tyner started four games while at Oregon, and made his first at OSU against USC. He is believed to be the only player to ever score a touchdown for both Oregon State and Oregon.
- Trevorris Johnson made his first OSU start in the game against Colorado. He started one game during his career at TCU.
- Jake Luton started the first four games for the Beavers after starting once at Idaho during the 2015 season.
True Frosh —
- Six true freshmen have played this season. They include: Isaiah Hodgins, Calvin Tyler, Jr., Tino Allen, David Morris, Kesi Ah-Hoy and Isaiah Dunn.
