CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State volleyball team will host a watch party for the 2017 NCAA Tournament Selection Show on Sunday, November 26. The event will be held in the Loge Level of Reser Stadium, with doors opening to the public at 5:30 p.m. The show is scheduled to start at 6 p.m.
Â
The NCAA Tournament opens with first and second round competition on campus sites Nov. 30-Dec. 2. Four teams at each site will compete in a single-elimination first round with the winners advancing to face each other in the second round on the same campus.
Â
Oregon State, which holds a 21-9 record and currently sits 26th in the RPI, is projected to make the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2014. The Beavers are 11-7 in Pac-12 Conference, their best conference record since 1990, play heading into the final week of the regular season and are tied for fifth in the league standings.
Â
The Beavers remain at home this week to host No. 19 UCLA on Wednesday at 1 p.m. for their DAM Hunger game. Fans bringing two non-perishable food items will receive a $5 ticket to the match. All proceeds go to the Human Services Resource Center (HSRC) food pantry on campus. OSU also hosts No. 24 Oregon Friday at 7 p.m. for Senior Night. The team will sign autographs following Friday's match.
