Beavers Finally Return to Gill

Beavers Hosts Bay Area Teams
• Oregon State returns to the friendly confines of Gill Coliseum this week for the Beavers' first home match since Aug. 26. That's 13 straight matches away from home.
• The Beavers host California (11-4, 2-2 Pac-12) Friday at 7 p.m. seeking their first conference win of the season.
• OSU then welcomes No. 2 Stanford (11-2, 4-0) Sunday at 1 p.m.
What's Going On
• Friday is Family Night presented by Paventy & Brown Orthodontics. Families can purchase four tickets for $20 for Friday's match against California.
• It is also Faculty/Staff Friday. OSU faculty and staff can purchase tickets for $5 when they show a valid OSU ID at the Ticket Office.
• The team will also be signing autographs in the lobby of Gill Coliseum following the match.

Against California
• Oregon State trails the all-time series with Cal 23-47. The Beavers have beaten the Bears five straight times including a thrilling five-set match in the teams' only meeting in 2016.
Against Stanford
• OSU has never defeated the Cardinal in 64 tries.
By the Numbers Entering the Weekend
• OSU currently ranks fifth in the Pac-12 and 25th in the nation in hitting percentage at .265.
• Mary-Kate Marshall is third in the Pac-12 and 12th in the nation with 5.16 points per set.
• Marshall also ranks third in the conference and 15th in the country with 4.54 kills per set.
Aces
• Mary-Kate Marshall recorded 31 kills last weekend and now has 1,635 in her career. She ranks third in OSU history. Next on the list is Shelly Smith, who had 1,763 kills from 1991-94.
• Marshall also ranks fifth in kills among active players in Division I entering the weekend.
• Marshall was named as a Senior CLASS Award candidate on Tuesday.
• Kayla Ellis registered 33 digs over the weekend and now has 1,013 digs in her career. Friday at Colorado, she become the 14th player in school history to reach the 1,000-dig mark. She needs 23 digs to move up to 12th on OSU's career list passing Darby Reeder (2012-15) and Nikki Neubrrger (1999-2002).
• Kylee McLaughlin is the only player in the Pac-12 Conference, and one of 21 in the nation, to record a triple-double in 2017 (49 assists, 11 digs, 10 blocks) at Portland.
• Of the 14 players on the roster to have played in 2017, five are first-year players - true freshmen Maddie Goings, Grace Massey and Kylee McLaughlin; redshirt freshman Haylie Bennett; and transfer Shekinah Clarke.
• Maddie Goings, who played as an opposite as a prep, has moved to the left-side at OSU and has really come on in Pac-12 play. She leads the team with 56 kills since conference play began.
