The Orange & Black Scrimmage Starts at 7 p.m.
CORVALLIS, Ore. – Beaver Nation's first opportunity to see the 2016 Oregon State volleyball team in action will be Friday night at Gill Coliseum when the Beavers play in their annual Orange & Black Scrimmage.
Â
The scrimmage is free to the public and starts at 7 p.m. PT. After the scrimmage, fans are invited to stay at Gill Coliseum for a post-match autograph session with the team.
Â
It is the team's first action under first-year head coach Mark Barnard, who has spent the last 11 seasons with the program as first an assistant coach, then associate head coach. Barnard has 12 letterwinners returning from last season, including Mary-Kate Marshall, who was a Freshman All-American in 2014.
Â
Marshall is joined by seniors Jessi Seumalo, Emilie Wilmes, Lila Toner, Rachel Buehner and Katelyn Driscoll. Six letterwinners saw their first action last season. They include 2016 redshirt sophomores McKenna Hollingsworth, Maddy Gravley, Lanesha Reagan and Kory Chesire, while Daniela Vargas and Kayla Ellis return as true sophomores after playing as freshmen.
