Last Game
Bryce Fehmel scattered five hits and two runs in a career-long six innings and KJ Harrison drove in two on the strength of three hits to pace the seventh-ranked Oregon State baseball team to a 6-2 victory over Central Arkansas Friday at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field. Fehmel made his third career start and held the Bears to two runs – one apiece in the second and fourth inning – while striking out three. He surpassed his previous long of 5 2/3 innings against San Diego State.
Against The Southland
• Oregon State and Central Arkansas are meeting for the first time during the series.
• The Beavers have limited experience with Southland Conference schools, going 3-3 all-time prior to Friday's opener.
• OSU last played a Southland school in 2013 when defeating UT-San Antonio, 5-4, at the NCAA Corvallis Regional.
Saturday's Dam City Showcase
• The Beavers and Bears will be taking their series to Hillsboro's Ron Tonkin Field on Saturday, in a 2:35 p.m. PT start.
• It will mark the Beavers' first appearance at a Minor League park in the PDX area since defeating Oregon, 2-1, at PGE Park in 2010.
• OSU played at PGE Park seven times from 2008-10, going 5-2.

• KJ Harrison's 3-for-4 day on Friday pushed his batting average to .340 this season.
• Harrison leads the team with 12 doubles and 25 runs batted in. He's tied for first with four triples.
• Harrison has hit safely in 12 of the Beavers' past 13 games. His batting average has increased 30 points over the last 13 games.
