Oregon State opens a two-game midweek series with San Diego State Monday night at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field. First pitch is scheduled for 5:35 p.m. PT.

Last Game
KJ Harrison hit a first-inning home run and Luke Heimlich scattered two hits and a run in 4 2/3 innings of relief but the Beavers dropped a 5-3 decision to California Saturday at Evans Diamond. Harrison's two-run home run was part of a three-run first for the Beavers, but the Golden Bears answered with four runs in the second to take the lead for good. Heimlich struck out five in his longest relief outing of the season.

• Fans in the Corvallis/Albany region can find the game on KTHH 990-AM due to a time conflict with the women's basketball game against Baylor. That game can be heard on KEJO 1240-AM.
Against SDSU
• Oregon State is welcoming San Diego State to Corvallis for the first time.
• The Beavers lead the all-time series, 11-6-1, and are 6-5-1 in San Diego.
• The teams last met in 2013 when Oregon State swept San Diego State in four games. Those four wins were a part of the Beavers' 15-game win streak to open the season.
The 'Pen Past Weekend
• The Oregon State bullpen was stellar over the weekend against California. Jordan Britton, Scotland Church, John Pomeroy, Max Engelbrekt and Luke Heimlich all made at least one appearance.
• The 'pen accumulated 13 1/3 innings of work against the Golden Bears.
• The group allowed five hits, two runs and four walks while totaling 12 strikeouts.
Looking Ahead
• The week is one of the busiest of the season for the Beavers, who finish their midweek series with San Diego State Tuesday before hosting Washington in a three-game set that begins Friday.
• The entire Washington series will air on Pac-12 Oregon and Pac-12 Washington. Each game will also be available online at Pac-12.com/Live.
• The 2006 National Championship club will be honored during the series with the Huskies.
