Last Game
Travis Eckert scattered a run and two hits in eight innings and Christian Donahue went 3-for-5 with a double and a triple as Oregon State swept Arizona State with a 7-3 victory Sunday afternoon at Goss Stadium. Eckert walked three and struck out six in his fifth start of the year. He improved to 2-1. Donahue scored once and a drove in a run thanks to a fifth-inning triple. Logan Ice also drove in two in the win.
National Ranks Look In
• Oregon State comes into Tuesday's game with Portland ranked first in the nation for triples with 14. Program record is 31 set in 2006.
• Beavers ranked seventh, and first in the Pac-12 Conference, with a .330 team batting average.
