THE GAME: The No. 18/24 Oregon State women's basketball team returns to Gill Coliseum for game three of its season-opening four-game homestand on Friday, when it takes on Portland at 6 p.m.

WHAT'S COMING UP: Oregon State will make its 2016-17 TV debut on Tuesday, as it takes on Marquette in a game that will air live on Pac-12 Networks.
HISTORY WITH THE PILOTS: Oregon State has tallied three-straight wins over Portland, notching victories the last three seasons. The Beavers earned a 94-50 win on the Bluff last year, as Gabriella Hanson, Breanna Brown and Sydney Wiese all score in double-figures.

- Oregon State moved this week to No. 18 in the USA Today/WBCA Coaches' Poll and No. 24 in the Associated Press Poll. The No. 18 ranking is the Beavers' lowest in the Coaches' Poll since they came in at No. 18 on Dec. 1 2014.
- OSU has been ranked in the Top-25 of the Coaches' poll every week since the 2013-14 season-end poll. The Beavers have been part of the AP Poll since the start of the 2014-15 season.
- The Beavers were picked to finish fifth in the Pac-12 in both the league's coaches and media poll.
