Intense, but fun.

Peg outs.

I would pitch so I could see what it was like.

I started when I was six and wanted to play because my older sister played.
What sets softball apart from the other sports you enjoy?
The low-scoring that can happen makes for some intense games.
What advice would you give to a young athlete who has aspirations of playing sports at the collegiate level?
Fall more in love with the game every day that you play. You can't teach passion.
Do you remember your first home run? If so, describe it.
I was a sophomore in high school and I took an up-and-in pitch over the left-center wall. I was so excited that I sprinted around the bases.
