CORVALLIS, Ore. – The 18^th-ranked Oregon State baseball team dropped a 7-3 decision to No. 25 California Sunday afternoon in front of a season-high sellout crowd of 3,368 at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field.

The game marked the season finale for both clubs as the Beavers finished second in the Pac-12 Conference with a 19-10-1 league record. OSU, which will find out its postseason destination at 9 a.m. on Monday morning, is now 38-16-1.

Christian Donahue had two hits and Joe Gillette drove in two runs on a triple in the fourth in the loss. California lefty Matt Ladrech started and allowed five hits and two runs over five innings for the win. He improved to 7-4.

Travis Eckert took the loss for the Beavers after 4 1/3 innings in a start. The junior allowed seven hits and four runs to drop to 6-1 on the year.

Lucas Erceg went 3-for-5, including a two-run home run in the fifth to push Cal head for good. The Bears, up 4-2 after the round tripper, scored a solo run in the sixth and two more in the eighth. OSU had made it a 5-3 game when Billy King grounded out to second in the seventh, driving in a run.

The entire NCAA Division I field will be announced starting at 9 a.m. on ESPNU.
