CORVALLIS, Ore. – The 18^th-ranked Oregon State baseball team dropped a 3-2 decision to Oregon in 11 innings Tuesday night at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field.

Kyle Kasser's sacrifice fly in the 11^th broke a 2-2 stalemate and sent the Ducks to the win in the rubber match of the season series. The loss pushes OSU's record to 36-15-1 on the season while UO improved to 35-22.

The Beavers tallied six hits off four Oregon pitchers, with Caleb Hamilton tallying a ninth and Logan Ice a triple. Ice's triple came with two down in the ninth but he was stranded at third.

The Beavers opened the game's scoring with a second-inning sacrifice fly by Logan Ice. OSU then stretched the lead to 2-0 in the fifth when Elliott Cary drove in Caleb Hamilton via a single.

OSU enabled the Ducks to tie the game in the eighth via a three-error inning. Mitchell Tolman doubled in a run and Phil Craig-St. Louis singled home the game tying run.

Neither starter figured in the decision but both pitched well. Sam Tweedt worked six scoreless innings, allowing three hits with a walk and two strikeouts. Oregon's Conor Harber allowed three hits and a run while striking out three. He also issued one walk in four innings.

The win went to Oregon reliever Garrett Cleavinger, who allowed only one runner via a hit by pitch. He improved to 4-2 on the year. The loss went to OSU reliever Mitch Hickey, who dropped to 4-1 this season after allowing two hits and a run in two innings.

The Beavers stay home this weekend for a three-game series against No. 25 California to end the regular season. All three games of the series will be televised live by the Pac-12 Networks.
