
Rowers to Face Pilots for Home Race

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State's women's rowing team will have a pair of boats on the water this week – Varsity 8 and Second Varsity 8 – to take on the Portland Pilots Saturday beginning at 9 a.m.
COURSE: The 5,000-meter head race course takes place on the Willamette River with the finish line at the OSU Boathouse dock across the river from downtown Corvallis. The crews will also race a shorter distance sprint.
RACE TIMES: Racing is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. in a time trial format. The shorter distance pieces will take place following the head race.
VIEWING: The best viewing spot for Saturday's racing is at the landing at North Riverfront Park on the west side of the Willamette River below The Spaghetti Factory and across from the OSU Boathouse.
