Oregon State won for the first time ever against Colorado in Boulder to snap an 0-6 record.
The Beavers also won for the first time this season when trailing at halftime to snap an 0-9 record.
Joe Burton became the 39th player in Oregon State history to reach the 1,000-point mark with a hook shot in the first half. He joins teammates Roberto Nelson as players to join the 1,000-club this season.
Burton also became the first Oregon State player in history to record 1,000 points/700 rebounds/300 assists. He now sits with 1,005 points, 728 rebounds and 312 assists in his career.
Burton moved into second on Oregon State's career games played list with 129 to pass Seth Tarver who played 128 from 2007-10. Josh Tarver is the all-time leader with 130 from 2006-10.
Eric Moreland had two blocked shots in the game and moved into a tie for second on Oregon State's single-season blocks list to tie Scott Haskin who had 68 in 1991-92. Moreland set the school record last season when he finished with 69.
Moreland had 10 rebounds and now has 294 on the season. That moves him into seventh on Oregon State's single season rebounding list to pass Dave Gambee (285 in 1957-58), A.C. Green (286 in 1984-85) and Lonnie Shelton (292 in 1974-75).
Moreland moved into third on Oregon State's sophomore rebounding list with 294 to pass Shelton's 292 in 1974-75. Swede Halbrook is second with 344 in 1953-54 and Mel Counts is first with 401 in 1961-62.
Burton and Moreland both had double-doubles. It was the 11th of the season and 14th of the career for Moreland, and sixth of the season and 10th of the career for Burton.
Roberto Nelson scored in double figures for the 16th consecutive game. He has now hit double digits in 27 games this season and 52 in his career.
Oregon State held Colorado to 35.0 percent (21-60) shooting from the field. The Beavers are now 9-1 this season when the opponent shoots less than 40 percent.
