The OSU women's rowing team will be back in action Sunday morning versus Clemson as it will race in four events against the Tigers on Redwood Shores during the final day of competition for the Pac-12 Invitational.

Beavers go 4-4 on first day of Pac-12 Invitational against opponents Northeastern, California and Oklahoma

REDWOOD SHORES, Calif. – The Oregon State women's rowing team won two pairs of races Saturday against opponents Northeastern and Oklahoma, while going 4-4 on the first day of competition of the Pac-12 Invite.

The Beavers started out the morning by taking duals with Northeastern in the first and second varsity 8+'s as well as the Varsity 4+, but then dropped their Novice 8+ race with No. 2 California by a little more than two seconds.

In the afternoon, OSU's fortunes were reversed, mustering a victory in the Novice 8+ against Oklahoma but then dropping duals to the Sooners in the first and second Varsity 8+'s as well as the Varsity 4+ race.

Oregon State will have four more races on Sunday, but this time against Clemson as it will put boats in the water for the first and second Varsity 8+'s as well as the Varsity 4+. The Beavers and Tigers will race Novice 8+ boats in the Invitational's final event, scheduled for 10:40 a.m. at Redwood Shores.
