Boulder, Colo. – The Oregon State volleyball team (11-3, 3-1 Pac-12) hit .343 to Colorado's .026 as the Beavers swept (25-21, 25-11, 25-14) the first-ever meeting between the two teams on Saturday evening in Coors Events Center.
“This was a great weekend by our team, especially without our outside hitter Dre Shaw,” head coach Taras Liskevych said. “But everyone really stepped up, especially Camille Saxton, who took nearly 100 swings this weekend and hit .366 tonight. And other than the first set, good siding out by us. Great start by us on the road in the Pac-12, and now we just have to get better this week and get ready for the Washington schools.”
Junior Camille Saxton (Balzac, Alberta) killed a match-high 18 balls as the only player to reach double-figures in kills. Freshman Arica Nassar (Menifee, Calif.) added nine and junior Ashley Eneliko (Seattle, Wash.) had seven.
The two teams exchanged four lead changes with seven tie scores in the first set before the Beavers came back to tie the match at 21. Three of the final five points for Oregon State involved Nassar as Oregon State scored the final five straight points to close out the set.

The Beavers were errorless in their attack, hitting .552 with 16 kills to Colorado's -.079.
The Beavers were able to play everyone in the match Saxton closed out the match in favor of the Beavers after capitalizing once again on numerous Buffalo errors in the third set.
