OREGON STATE: (1998-99): After becoming adjusted to a higher level of competition, junior-college transfer Dustin Wayne had a solid season...he was selected to the Pacific-10 Conference's Honorable Mention team...second for the team with a 74.0 average...had four top-10 finishes and shot 10 sub-par rounds...his best individual placing was fourth at the Wolf Pack Classic with a three-round total of 215, which included a round of 68, and tied for fourth at the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate...shot a career-low 67 at the Pacific Invitational, and fired two rounds of 70 at the Husky Invitational.
CHABOT JC:M Wayne lettered two years...two-time All-Coast Conference, and led the league in scoring as a sophomore...helped Chabot to two league titles...won the Northern California JC Championship with a 36-hole total of 6 under-136 - a tournament record...finished his sophomore season with a 71.8 scoring
