Oregon State Takes Bandon Dunes Title; Anh Minh Claims Individual Championship

BANDON, Ore. – The Oregon State men's golf team ran away with the Bandon Dunes Championship on Tuesday, claiming the team title by 17 strokes. Freshman Nguyen Anh Minh claimed the individual championship, shooting a 13-under over 54 holes.
The team title is its first since the 2024 Redhawk Invitational and the first at the Bandon event since 2020. Anh Minh is the first Beaver individual to claim a title since Jackson Lake at the 2024 Redhawk. Anh Minh is the first Beaver to win an individual championship in Bandon.
Oregon State took of the top four spots individually. Rylan Johnson finished third with a 7-under final tally, while Ethan Elleraas claimed fourth with a 6-under score.
Anh Minh tied the Oregon State individual round record with a 10-under 61 on Sunday. He followed that with a 1-under 70 on Monday, then a 2-under 69 on Tuesday.
Johnson posted a 5-under 66 in the opening round, a 3-under 68 on Monday and then a 1-over 72 to end his trip to the coast.
Elleraas had his best round as a Beaver on Tuesday, posting a 6-under 65 thanks to an eagle on the 12th hole and five other birdies. He also finished under par on Sunday at 3-under.
Collin Hodgkinson gave the Beavers four placers in the top-10. He posted a 3-under to end the event thanks to a 3-under 68 on Sunday and 1-under 70 on Monday. He took 10th.
Anh Minh led the tournament with 17 birdies. Hodgkinson was close behind with 16, followed by Johnson's 13.
Oregon State, as a team, set the program record with a 21-under par team tally on Sunday. The Beavers followed that with a 3-under on Monday and 7-under score on Tuesday.
The Beavers were the only club in the 15-team field to finish under par in all three rounds.
