Men’s Golf Stretches Lead In Bandon

BANDON, Ore. – The Oregon State men's golf team stretched its lead at the Bandon Dunes Championship on Monday. The beavers shot a 5-under on Monday and head into the final day 10 strokes ahead of No. 2 Oregon.

Nguyen Anh Minh and Rylan Johnson occupy the first and second spots on the individual leaderboard. Collin Hodgkinson, meanwhile, heads into the final day in eighth.

All three shot under par on Monday. Anh Minh finished with a 1-under 70 and heads into the final day with an 11-under tally.

Johnson had the best day by a Beaver, and is three shots behind Anh Minh. Johnson tallied a 3-under 68 on Tuesday and is 8-under for the event.

Hodgkinson is four shots behind Johnson after a 1-under 70 in the second round. He is 4-under over the first 36 holes.

Round three finishes the event on Tuesday. The Beavers are looking to win the team title in Bandon for the first time since March 2020.
