David Fink Selected To All-Pac-12 Men's Golf Second Team

All-Pac-12 Men's Golf Release 
WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Oregon State junior golfer David Fink was selected to the All-Pac-12 Second Team as selected by a vote of the conference coaches, Commissioner Larry Scott announced on Tuesday.
Fink is enjoying his best season as a collegian with a team-best 71.74 scoring average, which would be the fifth lowest in school history if the season ended today. He has fired 13 sub-par rounds and has four top-10 finishes, including tying for second place at both the Gifford Collegiate in San Martin Calif., and Amer Ari Invitational in Waikoloa, Hawai'i.
The Kailua, Hawai'i native equaled his career-best round with a 5-under 67 at the Pac-12 Preview in Hillsboro, Ore., and set a new career three-round mark with a 9-under 207 at the Amer Ari Invitational, which matched the seventh-lowest 54-hole score in Oregon State history.
He also recorded top-10 finishes at the Mark Simpson Invitational in Erie, Colo. (t-10th) and Oregon Duck Invitational in Eugene, Ore. (t-8th) His 71.74 scoring average thus far this season is better than the 72.88 his posted as a freshman and 73.45 as a sophomore.
The Beavers were selected to the NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championships for the seventh consecutive year on Monday and will compete May 16-18 in Tallahassee, Fla., looking to earn a trip to the NCAA Championships.
Fink is just the 11th Oregon State golfer to earn All-Pac-12 First Team or Second Team honors and marks the 22nd time a Beaver has received all-conference recognition.
