2001-2002:The team leader for the season...solid shooter and good ball-handler...one of the most intelligent on-court players in recent OSU history...hardworking tough defender...fundamental player.
2000-2001:Masten showed more one year improvement from his sophomore to junior years than any player in the program's recent history...his shooting percentage improved by 12 percent from his combined freshman and sophomore seasons, upped his scoring average 4.4 points, his three-point field goal percentage improved 8.8 percent, and his free throw shooting percentage improved by 11.4 percent...he and Brian Jackson were the only players to start all 30 games...for the season he averaged 8.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, and shot .519 from the field...his 1.84 assist-to-turnover ratio ranked fifth in the Pac-10 Conference, and he had nearly a 3:1 ratio over the final nine games...had 90 assists for the season, the second-highest figure for the team...he hit .421 (40-95) from three-point range for the season, the highest percentage on the team -- over the final 11 contests he hit .500 (21-42)...played 1,013 minutes for the season (team-high), the most by a junior at OSU since Ray Blume (1,111) in 1980...scored a career-high 19 points vs. Southern Colorado and California...burried 5 of 8 threes against Cal...matched his career-high with seven assists vs. Stanford...had a career-high 10 rebounds at Arizona State, marking his first career double-double (14 pts)...led the team for individual game rebounding nine times...recipient of the team's Ed Lewis Award for leadership.

February 8, 2001 vs. California -- Masten played 44 minutes in a heart-breaking overtime loss to the Bears...he scored a career-high 19 points, draining 6 of 9 field goal attempts, including 5 of 8 threes.
March 1, 2001 at Arizona State -- Masten recorded his first career double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds vs. the Sun Devils in Tempe...he played 39 minutes, making 4 of 8 from the field.
