Women's Basketball Upsets No. 24 Arizona In Overtime, 71-65

CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP)- Leilani Estavan had 20 points, nine assists and six steals as Oregon State beat No. 24 Arizona 71-65 in overtime Thursday night.
Oregon State (11-8, 5-5 Pac-10) also got 19 points and 11 rebounds from Hollye Chapman and 14 points and 10 boards from freshman Casey Bunn.
Shawntinice Polk led Arizona (13-6, 6-4) with 18 points and 11 rebounds.
In a sloppy first half, the Beavers committed 16 turnovers and Polk was ineffective, scoring just three points. Oregon State led briefly 19-15 at 10:15, but the Wildcats went on a 10-2 run to take a 29-23 halftime lead.
Oregon State held a 22-8 rebounding edge at the break.
The Beavers went on an 8-0 run to open up the second half, and led 54-50 at 5:55 on Bunn's three-point play. Tied at 58, Arizona went ahead on Aimee Grzyb's three-point play with 2:19 left.
Brina Chaney hit a jumper to make it 61-60 and Estavan hit a free throw to tie the game. Oregon State had a chance to win in regulation but Estavan's shot from the lane fell short.
The Beavers outscored Arizona 10-4 in overtime. Estavan had seven of OSU's points in the frame and Chapman pulled down a key offensive board with just 29 ticks remaining to help secure the victory.
The win was the first for Oregon State against a ranked opponent since defeating No. 22 Arizona State on March 3, 2001. The victory also marked the third straight for the Beavers against Arizona in Corvallis.
