Alex Krebs was appointed Assistant Director of Marketing and Fan Engagement for Oregon State Athletics in December of 2017.

He is responsible for providing oversight of sport specific marketing, promotions and game day events. His duties also include assisting in the development and implementation of initiatives designed to drive attendance, as well as the supervision of Oregon State’s student intern program, community and grassroots marketing and advertising and oversight of the Jr. Beavs Kids Club.

Krebs’ experience includes two years as a graduate assistant in the athletics marketing office at the University of Illinois. While at Illinois, he worked with women’s basketball, soccer, baseball, volleyball and gymnastics. He helped establish a new internship program at Illinois and provided oversight for the Fighting Illini Kids Club.

Krebs is a two-time graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign earning both his bachelor’s and master's degree in recreation, sport and tourism with a concentration in sport management and marketing.
